Das dritte Rennen der Schweizermeisterschaft ist bereits Geschichte. Ich weiss nicht weshalb, aber in Wohlen bin ich jedes Jahr sehr nervös und die Wettervorhersage hatte es dieses Mal nicht einfacher gema
cht.
Am Samstag fuhr ich einen Lauf der SAM Meisterschaft. Ich konnte diesen auf dem zweiten Platz hinter Andy Baumgartner beenden. Ich machte am Anfang viel Fehler, konnte aber am Schluss ein Paar schnelle Runden fahren, was mich Positiv auf den Sonntag stimmte.
Am Sonntag holte ich mir im Zeittraining den 5. Platz. Nicht gerade berauschend, aber eigentlich auch nicht schlimm, denn es war noch recht schlammig vom vielen Regen in der Nacht.
Lauf 1:
Die Strecke war in einem guten Zustand. Es hatte viele Steine und nur eine schnell Spur, also musste einen guten Start her. Ich fuhr als zweiter die erste Gerade hoch, doch schon in der zweiten Kurve schoss Billerey innen an mir vorbei und ich musste mich an dritter Stelle einreihen.
Baumgartner, Billery und ich – das war die Platzierung vom Anfang bis zum Schluss. Der Abstand war immer etwa 2-3 Sekunden. Ich versuchte Billery anzugreifen, aber es war fast unmöglich, da es nur die eine Spur gab und fast alle gleich schnell waren. Am Ende blieb es bei Platz 3, was gar nicht so schlecht war.
Lauf 2:
Vor dem zweiten Lauf fing es an zu Regnen – da war sie also, die versprochene Schlammschlacht.
Wieder Startete ich gut, nur Billery machte es noch besser. Wieder musste ich dem Franzosen hinterher fahren. Mein Tempo war besser und ich fühlte mich wohl. Deshalb versuchte ich alles um einen Angriff zu starten, aber ich fand keinen Weg an ihm vorbei. Der Dreck und die Sicht machten es sehr schwer, denn ich musste immer wieder Abstand halten um mich von dem ganzen Dreck zu befreien. So fuhr ich als zweiter über die Ziellinie und war Happy, denn das war ein super Resultat für die Meisterschaft.
Ich fühle mich sehr Fit, mein Team macht eine super Job, mein Bike ist richtig gut und ich habe jede menge Spaß beim Fahren.
Ich werde weiter hart Trainieren, damit es so weiter läuft und vielleicht sogar noch ein bisschen besser;)

Thank Nick for another great tutorial, I always learn something new here. I´think maybe the standard way of lightning would provide a faster result. Instead of using the luminance channel to light the scene, using area lights and applying them to the objects (Cylinders, in this case). With the physically accurate falloff and very soft shadows it might provide similiar results. Worth doing a little test, imo:)
